9 New Colors of Swarovski 2mm Round Faceted Beads!!! These teenie-weenie little beautes will be marvelous additions to your pieces done "in the small"!! Check out these new colors: amethyst, emerald, jet, peridot, rose, light rose, sapphire, siam, and vintage rose!!! Add these to the ones we already have in stock: crystal, crystal moonlight, and light sapphire; and you have a nice selection!!! Have at'em!
We've finally got in a fairly new color for Swarovski: Palace Green Opal. This lustrous color reminds you of African Jade. We will now stock it in the following shapes and sizes: 4mm, 6mm and 8mm round faceted; 6mm and 8mm faceted rondels; 3mm, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm bicones; and 4mm, 6mm and 8mm cubes!!! Superb!!

Trunk Show #1: Vintage Glass Beads!!! That's right, we'll have on hand over 470 strands of very rare and hard to find vintage beads made in the 1920 to 1960 era!! Many of the colors can't be made anymore, and you will find some shapes you've probably never seen before!! You won't want to miss this show because my vendor reports that it is getting harder and harder to find any available vintage beads stored away in European basements and attics anymore! The strands that we have came from a crate that our vendor has had for many years and just recently opened. Any leftover strands will be sent back to our vendor on Sunday, 10/26. So don't wait, if you want best pickins!
Trunk Show #2: Fabulous Clay Pendants by Alaskan artist, Susan Welsh-Smith!! Susan takes a dark, high fire clay, impresses it with an abstract design, and then fires the piece in a kiln twice. She then applies an acrylic "patina" by hand to each piece after the firings. The results are stunning!! Her pieces will be available at Alaska Bead Company from 10/5 through 10/19 and can be had for a mere $4.00 for the smaller pendants, or $8.00 for the larger pendants!! Don't miss this opportunity to pick up some unique focal pieces!!

We've finally gotten in Twisted Cyclone Crimps!!! They come in both Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver, and, one size fits wire cording up to .010" thick, while the other one will fit up to .018" in thickness. IMPORTANT: These Cyclone Crimps are High-Quality "Made in the USA" Twisted Crimps, not cheap Chinese knock-offs that can be found in the market place. The problem that can occur with the cheap knock-offs is that the twist indent in the tube may not extend from the top of the crimp tube to the inner side of the tube, and therefore, you may not get as good a hold on your wire cording. So Beware!!
