Renee Tatusko was first introduced to Alaska Bead Company in September 2014 when she moved to Anchorage from the Washington, D.C., area and took a class by Marcia DeCoster. Soon after, Renee became a member of the Alaska Bead Society. While she works at the National Weather Service as the region's International and Arctic Policy Coordinator, she has been passionate about making jewelry since 2003 and became professional in 2006.
Renee enjoys both seed bead work as well as wire work. She was a well-loved instructor for Accent on Beads (formerly Accents Beads) in Rockville, MD, for over five years teaching many classes at both beginner and advanced levels. Now she hopes to share her joy of teaching with ABC and their students, as well as introduce some exciting new projects.
